Conches are creations in Drawn to Life. They are first drawn in the Conch Ruins (possibly hence the name "Conch" Ruins) and are used extensively there. Pressing Y near a conch will cause nearby rock platforms to fall into their proper positions from where they are hovering in the sky, allowing the Hero to traverse another part of the level.
