[The player then draws the sun.]

Book of Life: ...and the moon...

[The player then draws the moon.]

Book of Life: ...and hung them both in the sky...

(establishing shot of Raposa Village)

Narrator: ... and from the Creator's hand came a people called the Raposa. The Raposa guard the Book of Life.
Narrator: Hi! We live right here, in this village. It's a great place filled with friendly, good-hearted Raposa!

(zoom into Jowee's house)

Narrator: This is Jowee's house. You'll like him! He loves adventures. I bet he wishes he were on one right now!
Narrator: He'd probably ask his best friend Mari to come with him...

(cut to Town Hall)

Narrator: ...but as you can see, Mari's much too busy to go on any adventures! She replaced her dad as our mayor.

(Circi walks into frame)

Circi: Fortunately, Mari has me to help her. Hi! I'm Circi! I'm the deputy mayor!
Circi: Oh no, she looks upset! I'd better go see if she needs my help...

(Circi walks up to Mari)

Circi: What's the matter, Mari?
Mari: Circi! The Book of Life, where the Creator drew all creation, is missing!
Mari: Heather said she saw Crazybarks take it! And she said other stuff is missing, too!
Mari: Arrgh! As if I didn't already have enough to worry about...
Circi: Crazybarks! We should have never let that demented Rapo in our village...
Mari: Now now, Crazybarks has never done anything like this before.
Mari: He must have a reason. Circi, could you go talk to him?
Circi: By myself? No way! He might bite me!
Mari: Creator, there is so much to do... We're still rebuilding from the damage Wilfre did...
Mari: I'm not my dad. I'm still learning how to be mayor. Please, Creator... The Book of Life is missing...
Mari: I... We, the Raposa, need your help once more!
Creator: I HAVE HEARD YOUR CRY.
Creator: I WILL PROVIDE A HERO TO HELP YOU.

[The player then draws the hero.]

Mari: Thank you, Creator! Thank you for sending "Hero" to help us!
Mari: Let's go, "Hero"! Circi can fill you in along the way.
Circi: Hello, "Hero"! I'm sure glad you showed up. We have to go talk to Crazybarks.

Crazybarks: Bark! Bark! Bark! Rowf! Grrr. Meow.
Heather: Crazybarks says he smelled danger. He had to protect the Book. Here it is.
Circi: I don't get what all the big fuss is over some old book?

Cutscene 1Edit

Mari: Circi, the last person to take the Book of Life was Wilfre. He thought he could draw better than the Creator.
Mari: But he was wrong. Wilfre's drawings came out as shadow creatures - twisted and evil.
Mari: Wilfre became corrupted as well.
Mari: If it weren't for the Creator, the whole village would have been consumed by darkness.
Mari: My Dad gave his life to save the village and destroy Wilfre. It was his sacrifice that helped restore peace.
Mari: And when my Dad died, I became the mayor...
Mari: ...and all was peaceful again in Raposa Village.
