This is a transcript for the original Drawn to Life. The Hero will be referred to as "hero."

Introduction

A book appears on screen. The heading of the page says "Village", the picture is of a village, the text says: "There are many stories to be told, but this one is special, this is our story."

The page flips, the heading says "The Book" the picture is of three Raposa with a book above them. The text says: "Long before we raposa existed, there was the Book of Life, the design of The Creator..."

The page flips, the heading says "Creation" the picture is of a hand holding a stylus and drawing the sea. The text says: "The Creator drew everything in this book and brought it into existence."

The page flips, the heading says "Planet" the picture is blank, the text says "First The Creator formed a circle and drew our world."

Now the player must draw a world, it appears in the blank space

The page flips, the heading says "Forest" the page is again blank, the text says "Then, The Creator populated the world with our beautiful forests"

Now the player has to draw a forest, and it appears in the blank space

The page flips and the heading says "Raposa" the picture space is blank, the text says "Even we raposa were drawn to life by The Creator's hand."

The player has to draw a Raposa, once again fills the blank spot

The page turns and the heading says "Darkness", the picture is of shadow creatures, the text says: "But that's all changed now. The darkness has come. And The Creator has abandoned us."

The page flips the heading says "The Fall" the picture is of a raposa leaving the village, the text says: "There's no more need for this book. There's no more need for us..."

The screen goes black, you see white words that read: "Creator... we need your help... the Eternal Flame just went out... and the darkness is creeping in. you're the only hope we have left...help us... please..."

Fades to Mari's room.

Mari: "Why don't you respond! How could you just sit there and be silent?! Now almost everyone has left the village... *sighs* you are the creator of everything. This is your world! Bring it back to what it once was! please..."

The player is given two respond choices:

• "I will help"
  • continues game
• "I will not help"
  • makes you go back to the beginning and start over

Creator: "I have heard your cry and will provide a hero to help restore the village but first, you must gather the villagers and bring them to the Creation Hall"

Mari: (!!!) "Is that really you?! After all this time!! I knew you would help us!! I'll go find Jowee and my dad!"

Mari leaves for Jowee's house.

In front of his house:

Mari: "Jowee!!! Jowee come quick!" *looks around* "He's not answering! Creator can you tap on his house and wake him up?"

The player must tap on Jowee's house three times

????: "Huh? ...what's going on??" Jowee comes out

Jowee: "Hey Mari... I was just taking a nap..."

Mari: "The Creator just spoke to me!"

Jowee: "What?! That's crazy! The Creator hasn't spoken to anyone in years..."

Mari: "I'm supposed to gather everyone in front of creation hall! Where's my dad?"

Jowee: "...at the gate, he was trying to convince Isaac and his wife to stay..."

Mari: "We have to stop them before they leave!"

Both leave for the gate, fades to at the gate.

Isaac: "Losing the eternal flame was the last straw. Now my shop is covered in darkness!"

Isaac's wife (blank no-name space): and now our daughter is gone! we have to find her..."

Mayor: "I understand... but we should go out together."

Isaac: "This can't wait any longer... we're leaving."

????(Mari): "Stop! dad!! We have to speak with you!"

Mari and Jowee run up to the gate

Mayor: "Oh Mari! and Jowee! I'm glad you're here. Isaac's daughter went missing! They just left to go search for her."

Mari: "Dad! The Creator just spoke to me! The Creator told me to gather everyone and bring them in front of creation hall."

Mayor: "Young rapo, you've been talking about The Creator for months now... let it go."

Mari: "But dad... it's true!!"

Mayor: "Mari... stop... we have more important things to worry about."

Mari: "You can't be serious, dad! What about The Creator?!"

Jowee: "I'm with Mari... we should at least give The Creator a chance!"

Mayor: "*groans* Mari! stop with this nonsense!! The Creator abandoned us a long time ago! The villagers are what's important now!"

The mayor walks away, Mari sighs and walks up to Jowee

Mari: "This is crazy! No one is listening to me! You belive me Jowee... don't you...?"

Jowee: *backs up a little* "Maybe we should listen to your pop... it's Isaac's daughter!"

Mari: "Fine then... i'll go myself... no wonder The Creator abandoned us!"

Mari walks away

Jowee: "Mari! wait...! Oh rapo... what am i getting myself into!?"

Also walks off. Mari walks up to the creation hall

Mari: "The door is still sealed!"

Jowee shows up and walks to Mari

Mari: "The Creator told me to gather the villagers here... but everyone's gone!"

Jowee: "Uh... I'm still here... maybe you should ask The Creator for help?"

Mari: "Good idea! Creator... could you open the door?"

The player must tap on the door, the door dissapears

Mari: "Let's hurry inside."

They both go inside

Inside:

Jowee: "Mari... look at all these books..."

Mari: "Creator... why did you bring us here? What do you need us to do?"

The player is given two responses:

• I will create a hero for you
  • Creator: "Your quest requires a hero..."
  • Mari: "A hero? why do we need a hero? just bring back the villagers and get rid of the darkness..."
  • Creator: "Mari... your father is in trouble"
  • Jowee: "Who the rapo was that? was that The Creator?!"
  • Mari: "What?! my dad is in trouble?"
  • Creator: "I will explain more over time"
• The mayor is in danger!
  • Mari: "What?! my dad is in trouble?"
  • Jowee: "Who the rapo said that?!"
  • Creator: "I will create a hero to help you"
  • Jowee: "Wow! The Creator spoke! Mari, you weren't kidding!"

Creator: "Walk over to the wooden mannequin. I fill this mannequin with my presence! I will add color to it's frame! and movement to it's joints! Together, we will restore the village..."

The player now gets to draw the hero

Jowee: "Wow! The mannequin came to life!!"

Mari: "Creator... does it have a name?"

Now the player gets to name their hero. remember, here the hero will just be referred to as just "Hero"

Jowee: "Hi Hero... nice to meet you!"

Mari: "We need to find my dad... The Creator said he was in trouble"

Jowee: "Well, Hero... show us what you can do!"

The hero dances and runs out of the hall

Mari: "I guess we should follow!"

They both walk out

????: "Where's my mummy!!!"

Mari looks around

Jowee: "That sounded like Isaac's daughter, Cindi..."

Mari: "Hero, can you find Cindi? She must be close by..."

Camara moves up and you see Cindi hiding behind a tree, now you have to go get her. You find Cindi and she runs away from you towards Mari and Jowee

Cindi: "Mawi!!! It's a monster wapo!!"

Mari: "It's okay lil rapo... Hero is only here to help... Hero, thanks for finding Cindi... we should go find her parents now! Meet us at the village entrance, okay? It's to the south."

Now the player must go to the entrance

Enter Wilfre

Mari: "Alright, let's go search the Snow Fields!"

They walk down but are blocked by someone

????: "...What do we have here? Silly rapos? And their cute wittle creation? You're too late, the Mayor is already done for!"

Mari: "You better not hurt my dad!!"

Jowee: "Who the rapo are you!?"

????: "No one told you a creepy bedtime story about me? Pitty... if you insignificant rapos must know my name, it's Wilfre."

("????" changes to "Wilfre")

Wilfre: "You can forget about rebuilding this village. I've torn up all the pages of the Book of Life... they should be scattered around the world by now! Anyway, I bid you farewell. I have much to attend to. To be sure you don't attempt a pathetic rescue, I'll cover this bridge in darkness."

Wilfre walks away as the shadow comes out and blocks the bridge

Mari: "Oooh! that Wilfre! ...what do we do now?"

Jowee: "We should go find your dad... he'll know what to do. The village entrance is blocked by darkness... we could use the village Snow Gate to get there..."

Mari: "Hero, meet us at the Snow Gate, ok?"

Jowee: "Yeah, it's northwest of here. Just follow the path until it ends!"

Mari, Jowee, and Cind walk away, the player must go find the Snow Gate.

At the Snow Gate

Mari: "Hi Hero... this is the village Snow Gate... we should probably stay behind... the Snow Feilds can be dangerous! Please save my dad... he shouldn't be that far away..."

Jowee: "Just walk up to the gate and push it open!"

Jowee moves out of the way. The player can either tap on the gate or walk up to it and press A

Player and Mayor exit the Snow Gate

Mari: "Dad! You made it back... I was so worried..."

Mayor: *laughs* "All thanks to Hero... I'm sorry for leaving when I did. I didn't catch up with Isaac or his wife... I hope they're ok..."

Cindi runs into the Snow Gate

Mari: "Hero, Cindi ran into the Snow Fields! You need to bring her back!"

Mayor: "Hero, I found something in the Snow Fields that might help you... it's a snowshooter page for the Book of Life... The Creator can draw it for you!"

Now the player has to draw their snowshooter

Mayor: "You can aim using the +control pad. Hero, you'll also see torn pages from the Book of Life in the Snow Fields... you'll need to collect four of them to exit the level gate... please hurry, Isaac and his family need your help!"

The player must go into the Snow Gate and they'll see the level map and the level appear.

Level 1-1 is Mt.Snowy

Isaac and his family walk out the door along with the hero. Cindi walks up to Mari

Cindi: "Mawi!"

Mari: "Cindi! We were so worried!"

Cindi: "I'm sowwy... I wanted to go find mummy..."

Mari: "Well... you should know better than to run off by yourself!"

Mayor: "Isaac! I'm so glad you made it back..."

Isaac: "It's all thanks to Hero. I didn't get very far before I ran into Wilfre..."

Mayor: "I can't belive Wilfre is still alive... after what he did to the Book of Life..."

Jowee: "What's the deal with that guy anyway... we ran into him on the bridge, and he seemed to have control over the darkness..."

Mayor: "Wilfre... he's the cause of this mess!"

Fades to black and white letters read: "Oh... it was many years ago..."

Fades to a happy and colorful version of the village

"Several years before you were born in fact..."

Camera moves down to show a young Wilfre, not covered in shadow, and around many other Raposa.

"Wilfre was a respected member of this village. Always the center of attention..."

Fades to Wilfre looking at the Creation Hall

"Wilfre questioned why it was 'forbidden... to design our own creations. ... In the Book of Life"

Fades to Wilfre walking up to the Mayor

"He told me that it could be done better... what a fool I was... for underestimating what he was capable of..."

Wilfre walks away from the Mayor, and fades to the Creation Hall at night with Wilfre walking up to it

"Wilfre snuck into the Creation Hall... and stole the Book of Life"

Wilre goes into the building and comes out, and walks off

Fades to the inside of his house, there are a bunch of black puddles around

"He took the book back to his house, and drew inside the pages..."

Shadow Walkers spawn out of the black puddles, and Wilfre backs up

"But the creations came out twisted and black."

The Mayor walks into the house

"It wasn't long before I 'discovered his scheme..."

Fades to the outside of his house with the Mayor, Officer Cricket, and one of his deputies when Wilfre he comes out

"We confronted him..."

Wilfre runs, the three chase him off screen. Fades to the Village Gate

"and in furious rage... he tore the pages from the Book of Life"

Shows Wilfre ripping up pages at the side of the bridge, probably tossing them off there too

"tossing them into the wind..."

The Mayor, Officer Cricket, and the deputy surround Wilfre on three sides

"We surrounded him and grabbed the book"

Wilfre backs up and runs off the bridge

"But Wilfre escaped, and fled the village"

Fades to the Mayor walking up to the Creation Hall

"The Creator grieved over the loss... and sealed the Creation Hall..."

A door appears over the open doorway of the Creation Hall

"and we were left to fend for ourselves."

Fades to the Mayor walking into the town hall

"I locked what remained of the book away... but it was too late."

Fades to the Eternal Flame

"The sun grew dim... the moon and stars faded away... and finally the Eternal Flame... flickered and died out..."

The Eternal Flame dies out

Fades to the snowy, dark version of the village, showing the darkness coming in

"A creeping shadow grew at the edge of our town. And everyone left in search of a new home."

Shows a family leaving their house and walking off screen

"All because of Wilfre..."

The Eternal Flame

Fades back to the present, Hero, Mari, Jowee, Mayor and Isaac and his family are walking farther into the village.

Mayor: "Now I see... the lost pages... in order to restore our village we need to collect those pages!"

Isaac: "I better get going... my shop is covered in darkness... Hero, you should visit after the Eternal Flame returns."

Isaac walks off screen

Mayor: "The Creator has given us a hero. And you... my dear Mari... have given us all hope."

Jowee: "Uh... we might have a small problem... the pedestal for the Eternal Flame... it vanished."

The camera follows them to the side and you see the Eternal Flame uncolored

Mayor: "There should be a place for the Eternal Flame page in the Book of Life."

The Mayor walks off screen and it fades to black and fades back. Then The Mayor puts the page into the book

Mayor: "Whew... it's back in... now it's up to the Creator!"

Mari: "Creator, we need somewhere to put the Eternal Flame! Could you help us color in the Village Pedestal? "

Now the player must color in the pedestal

Mayor: "The Village Pedestal looks amazing! Great job! Creator, would you like to choose the color of the flame?"

The player gets to choose from 6 colors: Yellow, Pink/Purple, Red, Green, Blue, and Tan/Orange

Mayor: "The Eternal Flame is back!"

Isaac: "Now the Creator can clear the darkness from around by shop!!"

Mayor: "Hero, thanks again for all your help... come see me again after the darkness is cleared from Isaacs' shop!"

Now the player must tap on the Eternal Flame and clear the darkness

Isaac: "The Creator did it! The darkness is gone! The shop is quite a mess... I need some time to clean up... be sure to visit soon.. I'm sure you'll find something worth your Rapo Tokens..."

Camera goes over to Mari who is by the Wishing Well

Mari: "Hi Hero! Could you come over here?"

The player has to walk a bit over to her

Mari: "This is the Village Wishing Well! Jowee and I used to throw rocks in it when we were lil' rapos! Nothing happened... but once, Jowee dropped a Ropo Coin in there... and five Rapo Coins popped out! My dad yelled at use for playing here...but I don't think he would mind if you used it! *laughs* If I had 10,000 Rapo Coins, I would just throw them all in the well! ...maybe something fun would happen! Hey... I was looking around Creation Hall while you were in the Snow Fields. Meet me there, I wanna show you what I found!"

Now the player has to go to the Creation Hall and talk to Mari

Mari: "Hero, thanks for coming... so I was looking around inside Creation Hall... and found some old books with drawings... inside Creation Hall you can view what's been drawn in the village. And also create some new heroes to help us out! Go ahead and tap on Creation Hall... then when you're done, visit my dad!"

Well now the player has to do what she just said

Mayor: "So Isaac's shop is free of the darkness? I guess he's here to stay now! Excellent work... I've been doing some thinking... we had such a vibrant village before the sun disappeared... if the Creator could design a new sun, then perhaps more villagers would return! Hrmm.. through the village Snow Gate, and into the Snow Caves you go!"

Now the player has to go to the snow gate, but before you do, Jowee comes up to you

Jowee: "Hey... Hero... uh... i had a question for you... maybe I could come with you on your next adventure? Ya know... like a sidekick?"

The hero goes through the gate

Jowee: "I guess Hero needs some time to think about it... I have to convince Hero to take me along!"

Now the player must go Level 1-2 Snow Caves.

Banya

Player along with Farmer Brown and his family exit the gate

Jowee: "Oh hey, Farmer Brown! You're back..."

Farmer Brown: "Yup... this here family and I should have never left. Where is the Mayor? We should speak wit' him..."

Jowee: "Oh, he should be in front of the village hall."

Farmer Brown: "Thanks much, young'in... we'll be seeing you around!"

The family exits the screen, Brown's wife is the last to leave, and Jowee turns to Hero.

Jowee: "The Creator needs to draw her a rapo-scooter or something... Hey, hero! So how were the Snow Caves?"

The player is given two responses:

• Utterly Amazing!
  • Jowee: "Are you serious!? And you didn't take me with you!!!"
• There was a sumarine...

Jowee: "You gotta take me with you on your next adventure..."

Hero walks off.

Jowee: "Please... hey Hero, the Mayor wanted to see you!!!"

The player must got to the village hall

Mayor: "Farmer Brown! You're back!!"

Farmer Brown: "Yep, thanks to this here heero... I hear y'all bringin back dem sunlight too? I reckon the Banya Crop can't be far behind."

Mayor: "And hero... you found all the pieces to the sun page! Let me place it back in the Book of Life..."

The Mayor places the page back.

Mayor: "hrmm... there we go! Good as new! Now it's up to the Creator to draw us a new sun to brighten up the village!"

The player must now color the sun.

The Mayor looks around at the newly lit village.

Mayor: "The sun is back!"

Jowee: "Hero, it's sunny again! This is awesome! Goodbye darkness! Hero is amazing! I bet the rest of the village is excited! I'm gonna find out what Mari thinks... I'll see you around!"

Jowee walks off screen and the player must speak with Mari and Isaac at the shop

Isaac: "I'm sorry Mari, no books in stock yet... the shop is still being cleaned up, we're not even open for buisness..."

Mari: "Aw rapo... I'm out of things to read... how about some paint? We want to put up a sign at the village gate. We're gonna ask the Creator to rename the village soon!"

Isaac: "We don't have any paint in stock either... sorry..."

Mari: "Well... at least it's sunny again! No more grey skies!"

Isaac: "Yeah... and Farmer Brown is back... just in time, given how we're low on Banya..."

Mari: "Do you think he'll grow some more at the farm?"

Isaac: "I dunno... the farm is still covered in darkenss... and the actual Banya Crop vanished some time ago..."

Mari: "Yeah... thanks to Wilfre. Hi Hero! You should go see Farmer Brown!"

The Player must go visit the Farm

Farmer Brown: "Why hello dere Hero! My here farm be covered in darkness... I don't reckon the Creator could clean things up...? Ya better be visitin the Eternal Flame first... then come back an' clear dem clouds!"

The player must go tap on the Eternal Flame and clear the clouds

Farmer Brown: "Dem clouds be dissapeared!! Why don't ya come inside? Ma wife and kid be in already!"

Both go into the house

Farmer Brown: "I can't find dem Banya Seeds! Lil'rapo, check in that there cupboard!"

Farmer Brown's Son: "Yes'sir pa! No seeds be here, pa..."

Farmer Brown: "Donno what wwe're gonna be doing... without the Banya Crop, there be no Banya Bread! Or Banya Puddin! "

Farmer Brown's Wife: "Or Banya Pie!"

Farmer Brown's Son: "Or Banya Muffins!"

Farmer Brown: "Ya know... I bet this heero could find us the Banya Stalk page... with dem page back in the Book of Life, the Creator could design a new Banya Crop! Ya think y'all could help us out with this one? I'm sure the Mayor would approve..."

Farmer Brown's Son: "Oh Hero... I saw Jowee and Mari at the Village Entrance. They were looking for you!"

Now the player must go to the entrance

Jowee: "Maybe we should ask Isaac if he has a ladder..."

Mari: "Isaac's Shop is empty at the moment... I already sopke with him earlier."

Jowee: "Hrmm... I bet Hero could reach it..."

Mari and Jowee both turn around

Jowee: "Hey, Hero! Help us put this sign up!"

Mari: "...Rapo, don't be rude! Hang on, Hero... we sould ask the Creator to rename village first..."

Jowee: "Good idea!"

Mari: "Creator, what should we call our village?"

The player gets to name the village, here it will still be called "the village"

Jowee: "What an awesome name!"

Mari: "I agree! Hero, thanks for putting the sign up for us..."

Now the player must go to the Banya Fields

The Chef Cookie, his assistants and the Hero exit the gate

Mari: "Chef Cookie!!! You're back!"

Cookie: "Ah! My dear Mari... how is ze appetite??"

Mari: "I miss your cooking... my dad isn't a chef..."

Cookie: "...Where is ze father? We should see him."

Mari: "He's around. Probably at the village hall. You should tell him you're back!"

Cookie: "Thank you very much, young rapo... we shall zee you around"

Cookie and his assistants leve the screen

Mari: "Cookie was always so sweet... I wonder id he'll reopen the restaurant... The snow is finally starting to melt. So Hero, how were the Banya Fields?"

The player is given two responses

• It made me hungry.
  • Mari: "Hungry? You're a strange one, Hero."
• Banya stalks everywhere!
  • Mari: "Growing banya stalks??? That sounds exciting… I’d love to see something like that!"

Mari: "You should probably see my dad."

Now the player must find the Mayor

Cookie: "Ze great Chef Cookie and his creative cadre of cooking asssistants have returned!"

Cookie's assistants hurry to him.

Cookie: "Zey are slow... to master the kitchen you canot be slow! I vish to open up my restaurant again. I have run into this Hero, while wandering the banya fields... I trust the creator can rid the darkness from my restaurant?"

Jowee runs up

Jowee: "Oh my.. Chef Cookie... THE Chef Cookie!! Back in the village!!!"

Cookie: "Ze scrawny rapo... what has become of this village?! Ze are like... skeletons! Starving rapos... ah I have zo much work to do. Mayor, if you may excuse my assistants and I... please ask the Creator to visit out restaurant as soo as possible. Let us move... quickly this time! Ze slow Chefs do not work in my kitchen! Ah, look at them run! Zey will make fine chefs!"

Cookie leaves.

Jowee: "I've gotta go tell Mari about this..."

Jowee leaves.

Mayor: "So you recovered the Banya Stalk page? How exciting... let me place it back in the Book of Life!"

The Mayor places it back.

Mayor: "Now it's up to the Creator to design us a new Banya Stalk! I'll be outside the village farm waiting for you!"

Now the player goes to the farm.

Mayor: "Now the Creator can design us a new Banya Stalk!"

Now the player gets to design the banya, and place them.

Farmer Brown: "That be the grandest crop a' Banya I ever seen! Now that Cookie is back, he'll want some of this fine crop! Ah... but his restaurant still be covered in darkness... Maybe y'all can help him, Hero... his restraunt is east o' the Creation Hall!"

Now the player must see Cookie

Cookie: "Ah! Ze hero has come! Will za Creator clear the darkness around my restraunt? Thes poor starving rapos... they are in need of my delicous dishes! The Eternal Flame should do za trick!"

The player goes to the flame and clears the darkness

Cookie: "Ze restaurant! It is just how I left it... ah creator, you have truly come thorugh... I will begin cooking zat once!"

Cookie turns to his resteraunt

Cookie: "zzrm... how will ze raposa see my shop... all ze wonderful culinary creations... this location will not do! Za lack of exposure... all zese trees! Unless... Za sign! A giant sign zat will tower over every tree! With my face... No wait! A magnificet logo...Cookie! Grand Chef! Za Creator can design it! Ah, marvelous!"

The game instructs the player to design a "terrible sign"

Cookie: "What?! Zo no, I beg of you, design a masterpiece!"

The player must design the sign

Cookie: "Unbelivable! No raposa will be able to resist my restaurant! Thank the Creator!"

The Mayor walks up to the restaurant

Mayor: "Just as I remember it... I'm surprised Jowee isn't first in line!"

Cookie: "Ah, I have not zeen him... poor starving rapo! Proably off foraging fo food..."

Mayor: "...Or causing trouble. Hero, could you go tell Jowee the restraunt is opening? He's proably around his house."

Snowball

The player must visit Jowee. When the player reaches his house, Jowee is hiding behind a tree and a young rapo is walking by

Jowee: "This is gonna be great!"

Jowee runs around the house to catch up with the raposa and throws a snowball at him, but misses and hits Mari instead

Mari: "You!!! You... hit me from behind!"

Jowee: "Oh rapo... Mari! I uh... I didn't mean to..."

Mari: "You better start running!"

Mari throws a snowball at Jowee

Mari: "Throw another one! I dare you!"

They game instructs the player to find Mari and Jowee who are both at the Village Hall

Jowe: "Ow... stop chasing me!!"

Mari: "So that's how it is?! Hit me with a snowball and then run to my dad for help?!"

Mayor: "It's such a realief see everyone out abd about! The snow is melting too! You both give me an idea... we should have a village snowball fight! Hero versus everyone!"

Jowee: "Sure... we could use Mari for bait!"

Mari: "In your dreams, rapodork!"

Mayor: "It's decided then! I'll go round up the villagers and we'll get started right away... Good luck Hero! You're gonna need it!"

Mari turns to Jowee

Mari: "By the way... you thow like a rapogirl."

Jowee chases Mari off screen

The game informs you to ready for the fight you must defeat 9 villagers with 3 lives each

Isaac: "That was fantastic! I can't remember that last time we had so much fun!"

Mayor: "Indeed... it was and amazing match to watch!"

• If the player looses
  • Mayor: "The villagers won!"
  • Jowee: "You should really try harder, Hero!"
  • Mari: "That's not nice! Hero did great!"
  • Cookie: "Ze did! Ze almost fast enough to work in my kitchen!"

The snowball fight minigame is now available to buy at the item shop

The raposa scatter an Isaac walks up to Hero

Isaac: "I'm glad the sun is melting the snow... I have some good news... I finality cleaned up my shop! It's ready for business... But I wanted to invite you first... before I tell the other villagers. Without you and the Creator, we'd still be stuck in those awful Snow Fields! I'll be waiting for you!"

The player must go to the shop

Heatwave

Isaac: "Good to see you, Hero... I sell various goods from around the world... My inventory changes, so you should visit regularly! Whew it'shot out... Hero, maybe it wan't such a great idea to bring back the sun..."

Faces to Jowee walking up to the farm

Jowee: "mmmm... Banya Stalks... I'm sure no one will mind if I pick just one..."

Jowee walks into the field and white letters read "...crunch", then runs out of the field

Jowee: "Ow... my teef!! Ow ow ow! ... the stalks are so dry... this isn't good..."

???: "Ahh, why are you chasing me?"

Two villagers are chasing Mari

Villagers: "Get back here! Huff... huff... she got away..."

Mari is seen with her dad

Mari: "Dad! The sun is driving everyone crazy!"

Brown and Jowee walk up to them

Farmer Brown: "This herre rapo was runnin round my banya field!"

Jowee: "Uh... I just wanted to taste some banya... it was way too crunchy anyway..."

Farmer Brown: "Crunchy?! It's the sun's fault... nothin but heatwave going on 'round here... The Creator gonna fry us all like Banyajacks!"

Mayor: "Now now... it is a bit sunny out... but let's not overreact."

Jowee: "I have an idea! Listen to this... we build a giant reflector dish to block out the sun!"

Mari: "...anyway... I don't think the sun is the problem... it's just that we get no break from it. We should ask Hero to find the raincloud page... the rain will water the Banya Crop and the clouds will block out some of the sunlight..."

Mayor: "That's a great idea Mari! It's decided then, hero! You'll enter icy lake and secure the raincloud page!"

The Hero must play Icy Lake.

The Hero exists the gate with Tubba and his parents

Jowee: "Whoa... it's Tubba... where have you been?"

Tubba: "Uh... well... Chef Cookie closed up... and uh... my parents wanted to do some whale watchin... we were stuck at Icy Lake..."

Jowee: "I see...lots of villagers gave been returning... all thanks to Hero!"

Tubba: "Yea... Hero rescued us pretty good... the Mayor still 'round?"

Jowee: "Yea... hanging out at Village Hall. You should see him."

Tubba: "We'll do that... hemm... I smell some cookin!"

Jowee: "Rapo... better start hoarding banya... hey, Hero! What was at the Icy Lake?"

The player is given two responses

• A friendly whale!
  • Jowee: Rapo, a whale?! And it let you ride on it??? That's so awesome... you should tell the Mayor about it
• Too amazing for words.

The player must go to see the Mayor

Mayor: "If it isn't good ole Tubba!"

Tubba: "Hey Mayor... don't 'spose there is a spot for me in the village? I'm sorry for leaving... but ya ran out of food and Chef Cookie closed up... wait... I smell BBQ Banya... Cookie's back?!"

Mayor: "He sure is... his restaurant should be opening up soon. ...Where is your brother, Bubba?"

Tubba: "Aw... he's... I donno... I sorta lost him... I was hoping he'd be here, but I guess not."

Mayor: "Well... I'm sure he will show up eventually. And Hero... once again you came through for us! You found all four pieces for the Rain Cloud page! Let me place it back in the Book of Life..."

The Mayor fixes the page back in

Mayor: "Hrmm... there we go... just like before! Now it's up the Creator to draw us some menacing clouds!"

Rain Clouds

The player is tasked with drawing rain clouds

Mayor: "Hrmm... how about a unique color for the raindrops!"

The player can choose from six different colors, the same for the flame for the Eternal Flame: Yellow, Pink/Purple, Red, Green, Blue, and Tan/Orange

Mayor: "Hero, look! It's raining! The clouds and rain should provide some relief from the sun... can you go thank Mari? After all, it was her idea to get the raincloud page! She's been spending time in Creation Hall recently."

The player must now find Mari in the Creation Hall

Mari: "Hi, hero... I didn't see you come in... I saw the rainclouds up in the sky... I bet the villagers will be happier now." The Mayor then walks in

Mari: "Hi dad..."

Mayor: "I see Hero found you."

Mari: "Yea... I was just about to ask him about this strange book I found... it's a diary written by previous mayors... Before the Creation Hall was sealed..."

Mayor: "Each mayor, approaching the end of their life, would record the village's history. Then came Wilfre... and with the Creation Hall sealed off... I figured I would never have a chance to record my story. I'm glad you found it. Anyway, I've spoken with Isaac, Cookie and Farmer Brown... with their endorsement, I've decided it's time for you to start your training... seven generations of our family have led this village... you'll be the eighth... and a fine mayor you'll make!"

Mari: "Wow... uh... i donno dad... are you... feeling ok?"

Mayor: "I still have some years to go! But eventually someone will have to take my place..."

Mari: "Well... I'll do my best I guess.."

Mayor: "That's my lil rapo! We'll hold a festival soon to celebrate... the festival has been village tradition since before your rapoppy was mayor! I'll see your around!"

Mayor leaves the Hall

Mari: "Me... the mayor? What do you think Hero?"

The player is given two responses:

• You'll do great!
  • Mari: you really think so? Thanks Hero... you're so nice...
• It will be tough...

Mari: "Anyway, I need to think more about this... see you later!"

Frostwind

Mari and Hero both walk out and the player must find Mari again

Mari walks up to Jowee who is near some of the darkness

Mari: "Hey Jowee!"

Jowee: "Oh... hey Mari... what's up?"

Mari: "Not much... my dad just had a talk with me..."

Jowee: "Oh... that's cool... have you seen Hero around? I've been trying to convince Hero to take me along on an adventure..."

Mari: "... Anyway... my dad..."

Jowee: "Maybe you could help me find Hero? Think of how fun it would be... hey I bet you could tag along too!"

Mari: "Jowee... never mind..."

Mari begins to walk off

Jowee: "Uh... hey Mari!"

Mari stops but then Jowee spots Hero

Jowe: "It's Hero! Come on Hero... let me come with you on your next adventure!"

Mari Begins to walk off but Wilfre appears out of the Darkness and she backs up and he turns to Hero

Wilfre: "Hah! You've done well... I guess I underestimated you. I hear the Mayor escaped, thanks to you Hero. Anyway, I've come for the Book of Life..."

Jowee: "You wish! Hero is gonna deal with you right now!"

Wilfre: "Will he? I guess I have no choice... I have a little surprise for your village. Enjoy!"

Wilfre walks up to Mari

Wilfre: "Such a sweet lil rapo... I'm coming for you poppy soon."

Wilfre walks off, there is a rumble

Mari: "What the rapo is going on?!"

Jowee: "I have no idea! Hero, fin the mayor! And quick!!"

The player must speak with the mayor

Mayor: "You're here! We have a major problem on our hands! Frostwind is awake! You can hear it roar from here... legend says it sleeps on Snowy-Snow Mountain, just past Snow Lake. It's only a matter of time before it breakes through the world gate!. Please hurry! You need to stop it before it gets here!"

The player must defeat Frostwind

The Night Sky

Hero exsits the gate with the girl, she runs out and aproaches the Mayor then Jowee, then walks towards the the side and hides behina a tree.

Jowee: "What the rapo is that!?"

Mayor: "It looks like a raposa..."

Jowee: "Yeah, a killer robot raposa!"

Mari: "You're both terrible!! The poor thing is scared..."

Jowee: "You're right Mari..."

Jowee walks up to Heather

Jowee: "So... what's your name lil rapo...?"

[no name]: "..."

She happily walks up to Jowee

Jowee: "She seems normal enough... kinda quiet though..."

She runs off screen

Jowee: "Hey!! Where are you going!?"

Jowee runs off screen also

Mari: "The shaaking stopped, so I guess you took care of Frostwind?!"

Mayor: "Where did you pick up that strange lil rapo?"

The player is given two resopnses:

• I handled frostwind
  • Mayor: "I knew you could do it!"
• I think her name is Heather
  •  Mayor: "Her name is Heather? What a strange name..."

Mayor: "We should probably go find this lil rapo..."

The player is given instructions to find Heather hiding in the village

The player finds her left of the well behind a tree, when she is approached,  she runs but is cornered by Jowee and the Mayor, she is happy to see Jowee

Jowee: "Gotcha!! ...aren't you going to run away again?"

Heather steps towards Jowee, who steps back

Mayor: "I think she likes you!"

The Mayor walks up to Heather

Mayor: "Heather! If you're going to stay in the village, you need to behave yourself. ...understood? Alright then. Jowee will keep an eye on you from now on."

Jowee: "What!?"

Heather reacts hapilly to this

Mayor: "Hero, I'll meet you at the eastern path."

The player is given the task to find the Mayor

Mayor: "This road leads to the eastern section of our village... perhaps the path is clear to the village forst gate... tap the Eternal Flame and clear the gray clouds, Hero! I'm calling a village meeting to decide our next steps. Visit me at the village hall when the darkness is gone!"

The player must clear the darkness and go back to the mayor, there is a crowd of villagers at the hall

Farmer Brown: "Ma wife and kid can't sleep a wink wit dis here sun out all the time... Banya crop ain't doing so well niether... I appereciate the sun n'all... but we could use some night round here..."

Mayor: "Well... I've  heard the same thing from the other villagers. The Creator just cleared the way to the eastern part of the village... and that means Hero can use the village forest gate... the night sky page should be somewhere in the twilite wood"

Isaac: "Sounds good! Have we decided on when to hold the village festival? Mari, I found a great gift in my shop for you!"

Mari: "Oh... wow thanks..."

Mayor: "We'll hold the festival soon... I need to arrange some music..."

Farmer Brown: "And I'll work with Chef Cookie on dem banya cake!"

Mayor: "Very good! Hero, we need some time to prepare for the village festival! Why don't you explore the eastern part of our village?"

The villagers walk off exept for Jowee, who waits then runs off in another direction. The player is given instructions to go to the forest gate. 

At the forest gate, you see Jowee and Heather

Jowee: "This is my big chance... the festival is coming up and they're gonna start training Mari to be mayor... I need to get her something amzaing... better than what Isaac found! Mari loves flowers... and the best flowers grow in the twilite wood... She'll be so impressed whan I give her one! Heather, keep watch! I won't be long... head in, grap a flower, then come back!"

Heather watches as Jowee walks into the gate. The player has to go to the hall

Mari: "Hi, Hero! Whatcha up to?"

The player is given two choices:

• ...Jowee took a vacation.
  • Mari:"What do you mean he took a vacation?!" 
• Jowee's gone!

Mari: "He just snook into the twilite wood?! Hero, you have to save him..."

Mari walks away

Mayor: "The twilite wood stretches high into the sky! You won't get very far without some wings..." 

The mayor takes out the Book of Life

Mayor: "Ah! here you go... right from the Book of Life, a template for wings! Creator, would you design them?" The player must draw in the wings

Mayor: "Those wings should work well! One final word of advice... your snowballs won't be of any use in the twilite wood. You should speak with Isaac and see what he can do with your snow shooter and ammo"

The player must visit the shop

Isaac: "Hello, Hero! Hrm... so this is about your snowshooter?Your snowshooter won't be useful in the twilite wood... I'm good with items, let me take a look at it... I'll modify it, but first we should ask the creator to redraw it."

The player must design a new weapon.

Isaac: "That looks fabulous! I'll start on the modifiactions right away. Wait right here!"

Isaac walks into his building then comes back out

Isaac: "Alight, I'm done making the modifications.This acorn blaster is a bit different from the snowshooter. Each acorn will explode in three directions shortly after launching. I'll exchange your snowballs for acorns. That's about it... enter the twilite wood and bring us back the night sky! ...and find Jowee. that rapo is nothing but trouble!"

The player must go to the gate.

The Return of The Night Template

Jowee walks out with the hero and two people.

Mari: "Oh Jowee! You're safe! Thank the creator!!"

Jowee: "We had the most amazing time! Utterly incredible! Hero and I got the night sky template from the Twilight Wood! We make a great team, don't we, hero? Let's go tell everyone about our adventure!"

Mari: "Jowee... Thanks for bringing Jowee back... I was really worried... I wish he could think of other rapos before running off... So other than keeping Jowee outta trouble, how was the Twilight Wood?"
