Shadow Bats are shadow-possessed flying enemies, and a very common one at that. The Hero can defeat Shadow Bats by shooting them, slashing them, or jumping on them once. They also follow the Hero around. They also appear in the Wii version, in which some of them can be giant, and when killed two smaller shadow bats will spawn.
