[The Skylamp Gong] is an artifact used to reflect and focus the light through our waterways.

The Skylamp Gong is an object that appears in Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter. It is used to reflect light in order for the Lighthouse in Watersong to work.

TowerIcon Appearance Edit

The Skylamp Gong is a large, round, metal disk with an upturned rim. The gong hangs from a support beam that is nearly as long as its diameter. The Skylamp Gong is tied to this support beam with a thick, cord-like material.

The gong continuously swings in a back and forth motion, causing the reflection of the gong to move in a way where it appears to glisten.

Book Icon StoryEdit

After The Creator restores Color to the Gondola Port and creates a lighthouse in order to guide the gondolas, it is mentioned that the Skylamp Gong is required for the Lighthouse to function. The Hero is then sent to retrieve the gong, which is found in Rockin' Ruins, the third level of Watersong.

Question Trivia Edit

  • At one point, Jowee calls the Skylamp Gong a "Skythingy."
  • The player is able to find the Gong even before the Lighthouse is created by squeezing past Jacques, who is blocking the way.
